Tools

What good is a bag full of tools, if you don't know how to use them?  We have a class dedicated to tools, because we know our students want to make and build things but often lack the proper knowledge foundation to do it.  A hammer isn't just for pounding nails, you'd be surprised how often it's used to fix a car for example.  A miter saw help you build just about anything, but without proper training it can be dangerous. We focus our students attention on safety and operation.

Each student gets their own tool kit, so they are prepared for life off-grid, different classes and activities.  Students are encouraged to take their tool kits home at the end of their program so they can continue to grow their skills and abilities.
