We are passionate about keeping old cars on the road, and the best way to do that is to take care of them.  Our automotive programs teach students how to properly maintain vehicles, inspect parts that wear out over time like tires and brake pads, top up fluids, change a flat tire, hooking a trailer and build confidence around automobiles.

Reversing a trailer full of mulch into position or hauling a load of water in the truck are common chores that require advanced instruction.  This kind of knowledge isn't accessible to many young people, but we believe everyone should know their way around a car or truck and feel empowered to fix a few things without needing a trip to the dealership.

With a small fleet of ever changing vehicles, our students will have a unique opportunity to discover hands on auto mechanics on family cars, farm trucks, and vintage automobiles.  Some students will complete the intro course feeling empowered in their new found knowledge; while others might be driven to pursue more advanced training or automotives as a career path.  We guarantee everyone will drive a little more confidently after our program- but don't cancel your AAA just yet.

All participating students are required to have a driver's license or learner's permit because we want them to have real experiences using automobiles.  Check out our automotive curriculum.
